Toonami was the best, all the greatest anime's and some underground videogames were brought to light by toonami, I remember one review for dot hack. But seriously that was my childhood and that Mizuki thing? I'm trying to remember it. How was it spelled? I want to remember it so bad! I'm glad someone actually made a great video that could provoke such long comments.

I know how ya feel. So far shows now are few and far between. Disney has a few shows going for it now, main one im thinking of is Spectular spiderman. Cartoon network so far for me only has ben 10, batman the brave and the bold, and starwars. I wouldn't take it personally. Cartoon Network probably deleted it because it wasn't getting enough views or something. I remember the days when I would turn the TV on on Saturday nights and watch the opening to Toonami.

@envisioner007 i agree tom 4 did suck. it left too many questions unsaid and they went from the absolution to little tiny versions of tom. the only other thing i didnt care for was when they put in tom 3 nand the new absolution. not that i didnt like it, i just wish they had some kinda story where it transitions to the new ship and everything, like when they did the intruder story.

Somebody should REALLY start a petition or protest on CN and Nickelodeon to bring back all the good cartoons. Seriously, they really are going down the toilet with the new crap they have on here. there was one block i remembe way way back. when toonami was great. it was when there was a host like the mayor from powerpuff girls and stuff like that, but it was pretty cool, i remember every day i rushed home from school to watch toonami, then on fridays i watched that one block where it was nothing but new episodes. i remember the code name kids next door preview marathon as well

Its been 2 years since my childhood flat lined on me, and were still talkin about it.
Thats how awsome toonami was.
My only reason for watching cartoon network as much as i used too was because of toonami.
With toonami gone, i was forced to turn to WWE, and UFC.

I totally agree!! I miss watching dexters lab, and johnny bravo and tom and jerry, those were my favorte shows! I remember i turned on the TV, and all those shows were just...not there anymore, I was so sad. and toonami!! Dude, I was so pissed when toonami ended. Toonami was my childhood, I remember coming home every day after school to watch gundam wing and outlaw star, reboot, and DBZ. It sucks and the USA should petition cartoonnetwork for a revival of toonami with classic tom (1-3) Bring back toonami, bring back anime, bring back all the awesome!

I know how ya feel. So far shows now are few and far between. Disney has a few shows going for it now, main one im thinking of is Spectular spiderman. Cartoon network so far for me only has ben 10, batman the brave and the bold, and starwars. Adult swim kinda took over the anime but they barely have much other then bleach and full metal alchemist. other then that the era of cartoon networks feels like its dead.... T,T good by tom.

Cartoon Network is full of fucking idiots, same with Nickelodeon. They used to be good but now, they license every pidly little kiddy show that someone introduces. Also when they said they are cancelling Toonami, I was so surprised I shit a fucking brick. I was pissed...a lot. Johny Bravo, Ed Edd, and Eddy, Dexter's Lab are just a few of the best shows that were ever on T.V. Tom 4 sucked, I agree.

i feel the same way too, but i did not want to cry, i was so mad i wanted to beat the living crap out of the guy that is making all these crapy cartoons. i also was introduced to japanese animation by toonami (DRAGON BALL Z AND SALIOR MOON FOREVER!!!!!!!!!).
p.s. when toonami was still good and had the best anime, there was a toonami website called the toonami reactor, and it showed: patlabor, starblasers, etc. but then they took it off and i was both pissed and saddend.

I'm 19 but I used to watch Toonami too, I watched DBZ religously. I also agree that Cartoon Network and every other channel sucks now, that's why I quit watching T.V. other than the fact that I got a computer with internet. That might be part if it, like back when T.V. was the main media people had, they had to do a better job on the shows. just a theory...

since you asked, NICK, well sucks big ball sucks. since you are 14 i guess you rly never seen toonami when it first came on the air, way back when it could be on at 3-7pm then 4-7pm mon-fir then sat almost all afternoon and night. then AS came in on nights and SAT night, but it was still the true night of anime.
dont forget when magois or how ever its spelled took on 4-7 with only like 2 good shows over the few yrs it was on. and yes TOM 4 SUCKED

@envisioner007 i agree tom 4 did suck. it left too many questions unsaid and they went from the absolution to little tiny versions of tom. the only other thing i didnt care for was when they put in tom 3 nand the new absolution. not that i didnt like it, i just wish they had some kinda story where it transitions to the new ship and everything, like when they did the intruder story.

Somebody should REALLY start a petition or protest on CN and Nickelodeon to bring back all the good cartoons. Seriously, they really are going down the toilet with the new crap they have on here. It just kills me that all the younger kids are starting to like the new crap on CN, and are being deprived of the ones we grew up with. The only shows I like are TDI and TDA, and on Nick, I only like Penguins of Madagascar (but only for the penguins) So, seriously, bring back the classics!

I completely agree. I mean, I didn't even know about anime before Toonami, and now anime is my life. I remember coming home every day to Dragon Ball Z and Sailor Moon. I remember wanting to run home to watch Hamtaro. Kids WB and Toonami were my life. Kids WB sadly went on to cancel two of my fav anime. (Yu-Gi-Oh and Megaman) Now, I can't watch Toonami and I don't even know what's happening with Kids WB. Where is my Saturday morning anime!?

What killed Cartoon network was allowing 4kids and Reality shows to take over! there was one block i remembe way way back. when toonami was great. it was when there was a host like the mayor from powerpuff girls and stuff like that, but it was pretty cool, i remember every day i rushed home from school to watch toonami, then on fridays i watched that one block where it was nothing but new episodes. i remember the code name kids next door preview marathon as well

I remembered toonami was the only thing i love to watch back then. I also learned to grow up with anime because of it. Adult Swim was also good years ago. And now they murdered toonami and only Adult Swim is my only hope for entertainment.
