I don't know about more open. Tubes tend to make music sound thicker, which to me means less open. That thickness (from "dismal" upper trebles and "bloated" bass) makes it sound more sultry, not necessarily more open. But that is not to say I don't like the sound. I like both sound reproduction from tubes and solid-state, but it really depends on what you listen to. Music producers use either as a tool to achieve their desired sound.

Not the warmth it is more open and if the quality is good of the machine it wont colorize the music.. It can make music breath more
