@MsPurple0807 it was around CAD$150, i got paid for the orientation+training week. we get paid biweekly, but it was payday after my first week so i got paid for one week only.
kay I love my job at Mcdonald's. best coworkers ever :) we sing to moveitmoveit every shift. everything is awesome except the grumpy anal customer and when you get something wrong :(

@pranks2all i'll say its half-half. since now ive been working there for a year and some months, i figured that usually when im tired and in a bad mood, customers are all so annoying and mad. but when i actually smile and TALK to them (not just sayin "may i take your order?" but actually commenting on their clothes, or joking around with their kids), most of them are very nice indeed! :) of course there are customers that are just rude and not making sense, but who cares about them! lol

one time a customer threw his change at me because of my "attitude"... i was working a double shift, been at 1st window drive thru for the entire morning since 6, i actually felt so bad i burst into tears... but my manager yelled at him for making his crew cried and kicked him out of the store LOL

I'm the type of person that can change a person's mood by talking to them, I just have great people skills and I'm always in a good mood. My problem is my evil managers that (although they may be fast) are rude to the customer and know too much for their own good. How do you handle horrible managers (oh and I am being trained as I go)? I love the customers and I love to interact with them but managers..

i work at mcdonald's part time too just a for a little extra money while i'm at college but i find it absolutely exhausting! good for you for looking at its positives, like the work experience and stuff :P
I love serving people too, my skills lie within customer service. But they've never put me on the tills. I'm in training so its understandable, but I don't think I can stand just cooking stuff in on the oil station all day. It's so soul destroying. I don't like working in McDonalds at all. Part of me hopes after this week is over they don't take me on because I'm on a work trial at the moment.

was your first instict to scratch at it? that's what i did when my arm got pressed up against the HLZ. Xp ended up clawing off the burned skin on accident.. and now its a beautiful scar.. Xp (late night at mcdonalds video on my page shows it)... and OMG THAT IS ANNOYING!!! i have had people show up during closing, demanding change from breakfast. Xp (its called front counter).. we have a few people who keep their cups and do that all the time so much we put a kill switch on the soda station
