Agree with Lynnahearn "very gracious young man". Adam has alot of class & is very thoughtful of others. He owns himself. His aim is not only to sing great vocals but to truly entertain.

He stretches the boundaries - one of his inspirations; Freddie Mercury (Queen) - go check out Freddie and Monserrat Caballe in "Barcelona". Stunning and timeless. Adam could also do this now. He's got what it takes. You will understand the reference to Freddie Mercury I think.

I hate this "American Idol Show": The best singers always lose. I remember having seen great black female/male singers who got eliminated right before the finale, just because they are black. Also great latino look singers with latino origings eliminated either in the finale or before. And the most obvious case, the great and uneven and mega singer Adam, eliminated because he is gay. Right in the finale show, the conservative/puritan Americans vote for the "conservative" singer.

Not a question of who your favourite was! Kris was not even the fourth best talent, but as with other seasons (Jennifer Hudson etc), the best singers often get kicked off prematurely because it becomes a popularity contest of sorts, and because of the voting dynamics. Just because Kris gained the most votes does NOT neccessarily mean that he was anywhere near the most popular. (For example : 10 girls each voting 100 times registering 1000 votes, as opposed to 900 single votes.)

I don't know why people are making such a big deal out of it. I really don't think that Adam being gay has anything to do with it. If it did, he wouldn't have made it to the top 2. Both Kris and Adam have great talent - and Adam will be successful, too.

It's the same thing with David A. and David C. People were freaking out about them, too, but even though David A. got runner-up, he's just as successful as David C.

Adam really has star quality. He is a complete class act. They are both good, decent guys, both likable. I am profoundly disappointed that Adam didn't take the title. He was the most deserving of any competitor on AI through all the seasons. It should have been a no-brainer. But he will have a fantastic career with zillions of adoring fans.
