  • Well I bet if you made a super tiny creature with huge wings it could fly. This creature is not small enough nor slender enough to do so.

  • No. There are Tidal Pool creatures IE Cells, but no full sized creature can live underwater. That's what we mean by "Swim". There is no flying, but there is GLIDING. Creatures can stay airborne for a period of time depending on their wing structure and size and their Jump ability.

  • The 2005 Prototype for GDC? It wasn't even fully coded. Some of it might have been rendered or animated. I don't think it was quite that misleading.

    Yes, Underwater Civilizations are out for now. Apparently the Water Stage had some Game-Play and technical issues that would of delayed the game even longer, so it got scrubbed. However an Expansion pack adding Flight and Ocean creatures is incredibly likely considering the demand of the Spore Community, and since it was probably 80-90% coded.

  • yes there is a a video on YT of a spore creature swiming but that was only when you come out of the cell phase and itno the creature phase! that part has now been taken out of the game and it is confirmed that there are NO flying and swiming cretures in spore!!
