judging from what you have to say if you do play poker then im judging that the reason your a losing player is you cant hold on to what wins you have. lindgrens play was "conservative" but given the hands he actually made a smart play... i would not want to risk 100k with those odds... even if your a favorite that doesnt mean you should stick it in

I agree with what you said. Had it been a 10 or 20k final decision, he would more than likely play the A-J, but why risk 100k against a stuck player who at the least is drawing to 9 outs, and in this case 12 outs w/ the queen as well. Better to hang on to chips and play a big pot with better odds in my opinion.

Eric Lingren would probably laugh off being called a pussy and accused of playing scared, but he'd do it with his 100k in the bank, knowing he actually played smart and kept his wins. There are times when you play the situation and the player, not your hole cards and math equations. This is high stakes live play.  Play the player.
