I love how you added the highlight in the eye, when I first saw you do that I said "that doesn't look real" but then when i looked away and looked back i realized it did look real and a lot better than the original. I like how you dont completly change the eyes, but you enhance them. =) Nice work!
My issues were that I was using a different version and I'm rushing around trying to figure out where my overlay and hue settings are and it gets very frustrating. Also you talk SO fast, I've been doing this for years yet I was in a frenzy trying to figure out what you were saying.
well done! i liked this idea... i found also using the burn/dodge tool to contrast the eye colours had a similar result. thanks for posting this option. and i like the 4 screen options you had in the lead in video! please do more menu style videos!
how did you find the samme brush as in the video, when i open the brush palet, its a few ugly brushes only displayed, soo when i say reset brushes, still only very few and ugly brushes, Please help me display all of them :)
hey, loved your tutorials, but i cant find what i was looking for: changing the colour of a dark brown (very dark brown/ almost black) eyes. perhaps you can put up a tut for that or suggest me one
@shaktivirgo that is not possbile as far as i know, eps is a vector format. You can export to eps only in illustrator.
So if you made something in photoshop, you could copy it and paste in illustrator and save as eps. The image isn't vector, but then you still have the eps file which is useful for some printers.
@shaktivirgo You can use the pen tool and pseudo vector elements in photoshop to create some pseudo vector drawings in photoshop. But you will never get the crisp look of real vector elements that were created in illustrator.
The end result of a photoshop file (picture) will always be in pixels measured in dpi. To have the end result as a scalable vector image you can use vector programms. The only vector programm i know is adobe illustrator that creates vector images.
Hey guys, come on over to my page if you want a eye make up tutorial, i did mine slightly differently, my results are more vibrant + other tutorials too (:
@meltdownman1 If you look carefully, there is two color strips separated by a white border, the one on the bottom represents your image hue and the above is the reference. If you adjust your Hue slider, the bottom strip will move, the color that happens to be above the bottom strip will be that image's replaced color. If you click on the colorize option, the image will turn monochromatic of the middle colour in your bottom colour strip (sorry I could not explain in greater detail)
I was wondering (as a beginner) if you could get into the explanation of what is actually being changed when you make adjustments w/ things like gamma, saturation, hue etc. Wikipedia is a little too in depth. I would like to see what u are changing and trying to accomplish with each & WHEN you would suggest using them (with a demo for each). I know it's a lot to ask but I think it is a critical component to anyone trying to learn composition and post production. Luv what u do have here btw.
@HelloChello33 Thank you. Your comment is much appreciated. I am getting ready to purchase Photoshop and reading up on it as much as I can before I "dive" in. I am getting into underwater photography real soon and it poses its own set of unique problems which not many sites talk about (backscatter, loss of red color as you go deeper thus requiring a special filter etc.) Therefore, I have to have a better understanding of concepts as opposed to me trying to click my way to a better solution
I like the concept, but I'd prefer that the videos you are linking to were available on a no-sub channel or a second channel, that way I didn't get 5 videos in my inbox for the same content. The main menu video should me more than enough to get everyone started.
Good job on your vid. but might I suggest zooming in a bit more so we can see what your doing better. Please keep making more I am learning alot from you.
@paulos7wow I agree the white dot was overdone and perhaps a bit fantasy-like. I think taking the existing highlight (and maybe enlarging it), then adjusting the high-end level to make it brighter would have looked better.
Very cool tips again buddy

When you adjust the Hue, the slider shows it moving to a red color. However, her eyes come out blue. Could you explain why this is?

meltdownman1 1 year ago 3
@meltdownman1
hey... i read your comment... and thought id randomly answer it (:
im not exactly sure about gama... but as far as i know its the contrast between colours or lightness and darkness
saturation is the level of colour in the image.
a higher saturation means the colors will be more vivid... aa lower saturation means theres less colour.
if you bring the saturation slider all the way to the left then it will be black and white...
...hope that helps :D
