analog sticks are the two direction sticks on the ps2 controller. D-pad is the alternative to this. It is the 4 arrow keys on the left side.

@ cpitney: the drop of the shoulder (from standing) is called the 'Matthews Feint'. The 'Drag Back' and all other stationary moves are in the 'PES6 Tricks & Skills - Stationary Moves' video. Do a search for it, or you can find it in my video list.

I'm having trouble with the elastico. Everytime I press L1 three times, it just does the stepover. The same thing is happening with R2. Is there some other detail you left out?

reyhan37 its because only certain players can do the trick. off top of my head the players who can do it are Ronaldinho, the 2 Ronaldos and Ibrhimivich. press R2 3 times with one of them and they'll do it.

sorry to spoil your fun but you are missing several key tricks. the stanley matthews feint, the v-feint, the special chip shots, the third alternative for your so called '90 degree turn', step over into flip flap, the rubana shot, the backheel shot!
