@tintor2, I agree, Nolan North would be great but the pauses stood out a bit to me. But it's probably just for this game, dubbing to another language can lead to wierd editing situations just to sync it better.

Well, even if they don't get this guy for Madara (games beings sometimes different), this is a good voice for a mysterious villain. But he does sound a little off as if this voice can only be spoken in whispers. But maybe that's something cool.
To be honest, the fact that Madara's English voice sounds so polite and reasonable makes the fact that he's able to convince Pain, Sasuke, and Kisame to all work willingly for him so much more plausible.
This scene was fairly well done. However, they left out just about all of Madara's history and thus basically failed to recognize him as a major antagonist by his actions (fought Hashirama, used the Kyuubi against Konoha, etc.). Doesn't CC2 realize Madara is the reason Naruto has the Kyuubi inside him and why his parents are dead, the man who formed Akatsuki, and the real main antagonist of the series? They didn't even have Minato mention him during the battle with Pain. Madara started it all.
@teslageiger Yeah but it wouldn't have required too much more effort to include said information. But since Pain was the primary villain for this arc, I guess they just focused on him. Well, as long as Madara gets his spotlight in the next title.
I don't get why so many people seem to hate Madara's voice, I personally think it's near perfect for such a minipulative, sinster character. Honestly judge a voice by the acting and how well it portrays the character not by how different it is from the original Japanese (English and Japanese are two completely different incompairable languages BTW) , and if you still don't like it, suck it up and switch the audio. the Japanese voice actors/seiyuu are way better. best example is Madara, Naoya Uchida does a better job, since he sounds evil an old/knowledgeable. there are lot of voices in english that sound similar, that nver happens in the Japanese Anime. If this is actually an excerpt from the actual American version, then holy shit, it's about fucking time they actually had some decent voice work done. @iceorb Um no , Scott McNeil voices Tobi ! Nolan voices Madara in The Tobi Mask ! Madara`s ONLY called " Tobi " in The Game to make The Reveal MORE OF A Twist ! While Tobi and Madara ARE The SAME Person , Madara DELIBERATELY uses A DIFFERENT Voice and Persona as Tobi BEFORE The Reveal AS ONLY Itachi and Nagato/Pain know his TRUE Identity within The Akatsuki !

@iceorb Okay , I heard that Scott was cast as Tobi in The English Dub ! He said it ! It kinda sounded like one of his Higher Voices ! Apparently , there was A Recast I WASN`T aware of ! DON`T rub it in !

If this is actually an excerpt from the actual American version, then holy shit, it's about fucking time they actually had some decent voice work done. I didn't think too much of Nolan North, but if this is actually him, then definite kudos to him. The fact he sounds nothing like that, "glib self righteous tosser" Nathan Drake, and has a calm intensity to this performance, then he's actually doing the second word of the phrase, "voice ACTING".

His voice is good but he dosnt sound like Madara would. Since Madara is Evil (as all antagonists are) with plans of world domination blah blah blah. His voice sounds actually fairly nice.

I can't believe Nolan North played Madara. He's the only good voice actor in the English dub apart from Itachi and sometimes Gai and Kakashi
