@tttc oohh. i thought it was new vaga. they say it in "high fidelity." "new vaga... bond" i'm pretty sure it means "wave" in like portugese or something lol i could be wrong
i do love aLL you all the time its the reasons i stayed alive...listenin out for the bass sound of the beats of your heart...when i come close the tempo sped. now its distance the strings r tied
I really loved when they used groove boxes, rhythm machines and syths when played live. It gave it a raw and powerful sound.
I remember seeing an unedited footage from a party where they played (1996-1997) with this song on an mass hysteria and Thomas and Guy turning the knobs and banging their heads .
Well there music style is a bit different to, it would be hard to play there modern songs with there old equipment. I like there old performances better though, and there old style of music.
Have you heard the basement jaxx' remix of phoenix?? Listen at the last part of this video and in the background there's some similarity with that song!! Which happened first? This live concert or Daft Club?
3:00 - 4:00 aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhh FUCKIN' EPIC.

Wasn't alive originally called "The New Vaga" and was the track that got daft punk started?
spikemugen22 9 months ago
@spikemugen22 I think you're thinking about "The New Wave" which eventually turned into "Alive (The New Wave Final Mix)"

@daftendirekt97 Yeah although their newer songs are still great (Robot Rock for instance), I do enjoy the Homework era the most.

Alive 2007 is great too but i think (for me) Alive 1997 is better
BIzO76 3 years ago
Well they are both very different.
Alive 1997 is like their live house DJ sets.
While Alive 2007 is more like a live mix of their greatest hits.

I wish there was a live @ melbourne album because their music sounds cool.

its a pity it all went downhill from there, turning from such brilliant house to such crappy electro pop.....

In the Rex Club album (some time after Alive 1997) They had Musique go after Alive. Type in 'Daft Punk Rex Club'
LuckysBox 3 years ago
The live at Rex Club was made in May 1997 but in my video this live was made in birmingham, in November 1997
