this level was hard enough that i had to do 4 individual successful runs. once to beat the level, then once each for every star coin. if i miss the star coin i want, i would just restart

I've got to admit, this level was the only one that was REALLY HARD. If you have fireballs and your planning to get the coins, you should be careful of not accidently shooting out your fire attack or your in trouble. Trust me. Fire and ice never compare to each other.

this is indeed the hardest level IF you collect all big coins in one time :P wich i did, it's too bad you played so much on safe, i rushed trough this map like hell, i had 55 lifes starting 30 ending but it was all worth it :) keep on rushing, jumping, and shit, it"s awesome :)

You can do triple jump at the beginning,it wil be easier to get over the stupid plant.

UUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGHHHHHH! I hate this leve so much!!!!! This level shoudn't exist in this game! Even Super Mario Bros. 2 (JAP) is helluva lot easier than this level. Especially trying to collect Star Coins in here!

E hem. If you diddnt notice already, he cant kill them with fire as he is fire based and will melt the ice. BARELY any of them seemed to be coins, instead were MUNCHER PLANTS invincible, rooted, deadly. he would need to jump over them into the fire already being breathed. He cant stop or would soon se all the ground beneath him melted. The end seemed the most lethal with two fire koopas. If you dont move fast you die. Oh and did I mention hes running and JUMPING on ICE PHYSICS?

no man, the first set of fire throwing plants that are high and low... you have to sprint and jump right over them. now that makes you look cool.

i found a way not to lose lives. The brick above the question mark brick at 0:18 has a life mushroom. If you manage to obtain that through each attempt you try, and die, you'll just keep ending up wit the same life all the time. I done that and had 91 lives through each try i did (which was probably 35 attempts)

this level is so hard! I h=am on this level on my wii and I've wasted about 20-40 lives in one hour! the hardest part for me is the beginning. there are so many things going on and ice is melting away every second! do you have any tips for me? :)

if your collecting the star coins this was the hardest stage to collect them on i lost easily 50 lives just trying to get the last 1.

The fireball bounces, so it'll destroy every other block, making it extremely hard to get through the area.

@glem3 exactly....especially when you're trying to get the star coins, it can very arguably be one of the hardest stages in the game...hell..it took me over 50 lives to master this damn stage..

Think of it like this, Wii for family/adventure/...fun type games

PS3 for shooter, strategy, horror, kill your friend type games

and 360 if you like playing online a lot, great games in my opinion (better than wii) but replay value and single player sucks bigtime
