@GreenDay1981 I may be a little late to this party, but when bands perform on Letterman, they usually do more than one song, although, from what I've seen, only one is aired.

@Weasel097 I know some do that now but not all of them. As far as I know, Green Day always does just 1 song when they perform. It's possible they were using equipment provided by the Late Show, so they may have just assumed they were doing a song that Mike did background vocals on.
