Thanks for the response, but I'm not reading all of that. Trust me I have no hardships finding these sources myself. The point is, we are bordering 7 billion, and the most ethical way to reduce or stay at the current number is NOT to kill off the old at the rate that they died in the past, but to simply not have the young.

The point is that world tendency is towards small families and long life - so no need for any ''special'' intervention. Just give them education and health care.
