This song. My gosh, Sean. What an amazing work of art for your father. I'm sorry but this song just...it's soooo beautiful. I never knew John Lennon, but his music changed my life. His son is fantastic.
One of the most beautiful set of lyrics I've ever heard. I had a very peculiar dream about John Lennon when I was 17 years old, and for me, this song put all the pieces together...
Great work Sean, heartfelt and sums up loss ,and longing.
The dead, are all of us,in the end,so live for now,as your Dad,would want, you ,me ,we, we all pass, cherish your memories and images, create your own children, and find your father ,in them, like you Dad,loved you, initially for him, but then wanting you to live, for you and him.
So raw and real. Charlotte's gentle backing vocals are just right. She doesn't intrude into the song to much. We all miss John, but Sean lost his dad.
This is the best Sean Lennon song ever. It makes me cry every time i hear it. The original title for this was "The Dead Don't Speak, They Listen",but Sean shortened it to just "Listen".
The audio at the end reminds me of how I talk to my little boys 7 and 2. I'm a huge Lennon Fan -John Sean and Julian -What I love more than all the documentaries or all the hype about John Lennon is when he is shown as a regular guy being a dad and husband. The music is the vehicle of expression and the art, be he was just a person -to me that is more powerful than anything any documentary could say.
nicely sentimental piece of expression .. we all watched sean grow up .. i'd say he did his dad proud .. wtg sean .. hope he does a duet with his brother julian some day.
wow, it is so beutiful! i love it. i really shows how he felt at such a young age about his father as a person, and how much he misses him. where did u get the song? i really want it
This was on very early promo copies as a hidden track on "Friendly Fire" but was removed because Sean did think it was not so good to fit with the rest of his songs on the album...but it's a nice and moving song and it's a open letter to his dad.....
Sean performed this song on J-Melo, an internationally broadcast Japanese music show, this year. He didnt release it before because it didnt fit with his previous album but hes happy for people to hear the song.
A really beautiful song.

This is a touching song if you love John, but also if you've lost a parent. I think of my mom every time I hear this song.

That song is not just for BIG Lennon, that is the song for all the fathers who let children behind in this world. Thanks Sean.

So sad. At the end of it all, Sean lost more than we did. I'd never realized it before I heard this song.

Beautiful. It shows how much Sean longs for some time, just an hour with his father. It shows that he does carry heart act around with him.
