@Bragglia His friend calls him as he enters the store. The guy answer on his hands-free set. They talk about the friend's project to build a deck. The guy tells him that the contractors are asking for too much money: "you're getting robbed" (figuratively by the contractor building the friend's deck). The store clerk overhears the guy saying this twice while reaching into him jacket for his wallet. Mistaking this for a weapon the clerk acts fast to prevent the "robbery" of his store.
