@ThtsWatSheSaid19993 sadly nothing will bring cod down. you know why? because the multiplayer is super easy to do well in without skill. just slap on an assault rifle and you'll have no trouble getting great scores. cod is still fun to me because i like to use crazy setups no one uses. but these other games dont nearly get the attention they deserve because of cod noobs who are affraid to step out of their comfort zone and try something new. Right gears 1 is better than gears 2 in graphics and the songs, the best thing in gears 2 is the 50 wave in horde this my opinion.

I don't agree that GoW should've been a FPS, mainly because that would make it more of a Halo clone, especially considering that both games were published by the same studio (Microsoft), and they both use the same game engine (Unreal Engine 3). Besides, first person would have taken away the movie-like feel of the game, and how could we forget the best part? The epicosity of chainsawing monsters and people in half.

Either way, it was an awesome game.

I can understand what you mean. It does sound at the begining a bit like WW2, but I think it suits Gears of War really well, because you must remember that the setting is in a way; a sort of World War.
