Have you played around with slowing this beacon down? I am trying to do this exact project using a PIC 12F683 and Warm White LEDs to be as realistic as possible to a lighthouse.

HI Joe, yes it's easy to do you just change a couple of values in the source. Super bright white leds could make quite a nice effect. The source code is available to download on my blog if you're interested. Link is up in the "more info" panel
