I wrote up the 808-style 606 bass drum mod about 10 years ago and posted them to Analogue Heaven, it's always cool to see folks still implementing them. Nice work on the 606.

wonderful! did you mod yourself or pay? if pay, who? if yourself, what set of plans did you use? I've got several sets of mod plans but no good unified versions - mainly just various things found on the internet.

i did them myself, i used plans from all over the net, plus some additional info from a couple of friends

i should also note that some of the information on the net is not complete and in some cases completly wrong

It's astonishing how much these mods expand the versatility of the 606. Congratulations on completing it! The comparison with a stock machine is also quite useful. Excellent work!
