  • Oh, thank you soooo much! I got my Uke on Mother's Day 2009 & am now getting it out, thanks to you! I'm so grateful!

  • Hi Mike, thanks for your swift answer (not sure why it's not showing here). Have retuned my uke and already sounding so much better. My guitar is gonna feel left out as my uke repertoire grows with your fantastic help. Your a diamond Mike, thanks again. AW (UK)

  • Hi Mike, I'm a little confused!! I'm very new to the uke. (Santa brought both me and my daughter one each!!) So the 4th string 'G' is tuned higher than the 3rd string 'C' is that correct? I've been using my chromatic guitar tuner but the 'G' has always seemed too slack and low. Would appreciate some advice from the font of all Ukulele knowledge. Thanks in anticipation

  • thank you Mike! I've just bought my ukulele this afternoon and i can't stop playing... thanks to your videos and your smiles to us!!!! That's great! Thank you for sharing!

  • Mike, you mentioned that we'd better not overtune the strings as they might break then. But does it mean that we'd better loosen them a bit before putting the uke away into its case or take it outside (especially when it's cold/freezing)? Or is it not necessary?

  • @meganerdygamer mention violin + twice = makes sense :)

  • @meganerdygamer yep, i sure did ha ha ha

  • Hi Mike..Just to let you know..I got it figured out. I use a Lanikai Chromatic and Ukulele tuner and instead of setting at 440 as usual I just change the pitch to 444 and tune as usual. It sound a lot better and easier on the ears..Try it and let me know what you think..Cheers and Happy Uking.

  • Hi Mike ..Would you know how I would tune this to the ancient Solfeggios? It said on a website to retune your “A” guitar string, at the third “C” fret, to the sound of 528 hertz. Next, retune your other strings to this string as usual. I was wondering if you would know how to do this? Thanks..

  • thank you so much!!!

  • Thaaaank you! :0)
