  • Don't break your back just let your main sheet out a little

  • U need to Play the main waaay more and need to get fitter..!

  • @dimbutslin the sail flat not the boat

  • @tveerocks the boat needs to be flat aswell so you dont drift

  • tbh you done well just to keep the boat 'flat' in that wind upwind. but what happened through the tak??

  • EASE THE MAIN!!!! Stay fast

  • not hiking hard enough, , the boat is nowhere near flat so why dont you just let the sail out? you keep coming in and out and in and out which shows you aren't fit enough and can't stay out for more than about 30 secs. your hanging a bit as well which is a fitness issue. also you could try pointing a bit moreinto the wind. other than that your doing quitewell and good luck in the future

  • at the end he stalls in the wind, can you tell me how to get out of that?

  • well i once sailing in 30 knots before whoooosh it was fun and wet!!

  • no offence but dat aint extreme atall like day are toppers i saililed em wen i was 8 jesus like rs feva 30 kts big swell roches point cork harbour ireland dat is extreme!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • last weekend I sailed with 25 knots downwind it goes perfect but upwind is not his best position. but I did go faster then a splash

  • ive sailed a topper in a force 7 gusting 30 know WOOOWW THAT WAS FUN!!

  • ive sailed a topper in a force 7 gusting 30 knots!!

  • Hike to keep flat. If that isn't enough ease the mainsheet out a little. If that doesn't work bear away very slightly.

  • Il do that thanx!!

  • what you need to do is pull on a little more kicker and pull your centreboard up level with the foredeck and then let your sail out but don't pinch because you will stall, you can then keep the boat flat and toppers perform much better with a flat boat. Then hang your bum over the edge and consistently hike and it will be much less tiring and faster.

  • I once sailed a topper in 20knt winds-didn't go well. WHOOOOSH

  • The trick is to get the sail really flat and not to sheet too tight upwind. If the boat slows down too much it stalls and just turns into the wind - then you're in trouble! Toppers are a lot of fun in 20knts but not the easiest boats to sail in these conditions! :-)

  • @number1crazyvids Lol :)

  • no offence but its not exactly flat is it?

  • I sail toppers and they are great, great position in the boat. Type ziggy1852 and you can see me sailing as part of the ITCA

  • toe straps 2 tight. legs shouyls b straight!
