  • pure love wrapped in melancholy

  • there is so much truth in the lyrics.....

  • This is a wonderful , dreamy track. But why are we condoning what is essentially lazy humdrum nonsense. The hardest days of one's life are not about spliffing up in some Brighton doss-house. Grow up and take some responsibility for your life.

  • @dazmalski chill winston.

  • i love this track, dreamy and above it all

  • I can be 18/24/35 doesn't matter- theme stays the same!

  • Glad to be alive to hear such beauty.

  • Somehow listening to this song makes it okay for 3:35 mins to live in such a corrupt, messy world ruled by thieves. Somewhere to take cover..

  • I so wanted to like them. My favorite person ever loved them. I listened to them and barely could stand them while they were still novel, but yet could never quite get there. I even went to a show of theirs, overpriced it was, but I HAD to, because the most wonderful person in the world loved them. So, 20 years later, I am still trying to like them, but all I can get is a sick feeling in my stomach and memories of the wonderful person I left.

  • This song puts me in a trance every time I hear it..

  • lovely graphics

  • Great video.

Thanks for sharing this song - one of my all time CT favourites!

  • one of my most favorite cocteau twins songs ever!

  • Well done, i like the inclusion of an astral chart :) (I like the other as well)

  • i just uplaoded the chinese version of "Know Who You Are At Every Age" album version and also the remix version. please check my channel.. thanks

  • Taken from the best & most complete Cocteau Twins Cd.....The brilliant 'Four calender cafe'.

I absolute love the great use of the Acoustic guitar on these tracks ,which somehow soften the sound very slightly & you can make out what liz is saying on most of the tracks...

    Brilliant band.......

    Nuff'said

  • Moreover they attracted two guitar players, that stayed for 3 years, and recorded 2 albums.

The relationship between her and mr. Guthrie went bad in that period.

Guthrie still makes esthetic music. In my opinion, with a lack of an angel.

Liz is said to be recording an album, but this information has not been updatd for four years.

    Regards,

    Keimpe

  • Many thanks for info!,wonder if the Liz Fraser Cd/Lp will ever see the light of day!!?

  • let's cross fingers and hearts :)

  • When I was 18 I moved to Brighton, into a really run down, cheap student house. My friend and I in the house had barely enough to buy rollies and eat, but we saved up enough change all week to buy £10 worth of hash, which we'd smoke surrounded by 30 or so candles and enjoy life for a few hours. Those weekly Cocteau Twins sessions got us through some of the hardest months of our lives.

  • Thanks for sharing, i remember those gatherings as well.

    With love,

    Keimpe

  • @mofoitk I loved the eighties

  • @clod8 Me too but his is from the 90s. :)

  • oooh her voice, her voice, her voice!

i'd like to have it in a bottle and when i feel down i just open it and let out a little little bit of her voice.

  • may i hear it also a bit?

  • GEEZ MAN..., like, leave something for us to imagine !!
