its freeware and i love that..i just have one small question since title says co op..is it online co op? if not can you direct me to a freeware online co op fps game :D

@Punkyemoking it is :) you wont always find servers running, but when you do, it's great :)

as far as i know, this is the only freeware co-op game i can find.. i'm not counting the korean online games like combat arms btw.

@Punkyemoking yup, but it doesnt have and dedicated servers, so people need to host the games themselves, which means you wont find people playing 24/7

i like the game as well but think it is a little unfair. like the fact that the guns wobble in any position and the fact that you cannot get on top of buildings

well I honestly dont like the vs modes as they really are sniper only matches, all other guns are useless... but the co-op is fun.. it would be more fun however if the enemies didnt have perfect aiming, even when you're mostly behind cover. but not many free games have good co-op, so this is pretty awesome

yeah i know what you mean. hiding behind cover is useless. also after playing doom3 for a month then switching to this game i noticed you cannot run back and forth to get them to miss you again perfect aiming

you wont find a server up all the time, but every now and then you will... more often then not its co-op, which is what i prefer, but some might prefer the adverserial modes.

Did u know that there was flash grenades and smoke grenades too just press T to change of grenade !

I think that game is excellent too ! I played a Coop with my friends at 6 in the Hostel map that was excellent !

well theres the co-op mode where its a terrorist hunt, but i know thats not what your asking... there isnt actually bots for deathmatches and team deathmatches ect

No probs I just downloaded it and you're right, the co-op mode does have the terrorist hunt style which is still great.

Both co-op and the main game is VERY hard but for free its a class act and you soon learn to snipe better.

Anyhow, at last I've found a free FPS game that has single player missions and not just online play.

ps. Don't forget to try 'SMOKIN GUNS' Its a free western FPS that uses the quake 3 engine. It has bot support and is VERY playable and lots of fun.

I've done some research and found out why this is such a good game, especially with the single player campaign in a freeware fps.

This is basically the remnants of 'Threat level Red' which was to be the full version.

It was canceled, so rebellion chucked together what they had and put it into this.

Bloody generous of em and shows class.

These guys have always kicked ass anyway, what with Alien vs Predator for the Jag/pc and the new one out in feb.

ya same here but i can't find any decent FREE co-op games these days. Most are fun but get boring due to the same map over and over again. BTW does this have only one map to play on and does it have more than one difficulty?

theres actually alot of different maps, and 3 difficulties, PLUS you can choose 3 different objectives, Kill terrorists, rescue hostages or defuse bombs, but the best part is you can customize the objective, so i can make it a game where i have to rescue 3 hostages and defuse 2 bombs in the same game... or whatever i want.. its very customizable.. the only thing you cant customize (which is a bit silly) is the ammount of enemies.
