  • so incredible!

  • TEMAZO!! :))

  • I really don't mean to be critical but I just listened to this through my ear phones and I really didn't hear any separation. I did this because I don't believe this song (this version of this song, anyway) has ever been released in true stereo. You might check this yourself.

  • Evie does a nice job here...The Hollies' version is one of the greatest Pop/Rock songs of the 60s.

  • Is this another cut Evie didn't get credit for though having written it? There were some.

  • this version is a little lame - though it's exciting to hear raw productions. Evie's a great singer..the other version I've heard (on a compilation called girl group sounds lost and found) is more impassioned. She sings it differently on the chorus; she don't sing the high note - the backround girl does. In this she is singing that high note in the chorus, and boy does she sound great. I'd like my 60s band to cover it, but I haven't found a girl who can sing it well. We're lemonade pie! in NJ

  • Wow, can she hit that high note! Thanks for posting.

  • oh my what a sound along with many that evie has sung. Why she never earned her fortune as a singer i will never know.Shame she has not got the recognition her voice deserves.luv ya evie.

  • WOW! thanks for this stereo version.........scorching hot!

  • Spectrum - How you statisfy me

  • Superb. She be LIVING that song!

Evie may be famous for being a commercial failure. But just you wait and see - that damned quality, plus the merit of her records, will ensure that she is remembered after many of her top-10 coevals are forgotten. Time can do that!

  • if you want a treat check out the Surfaris don't hurt my little sister . evie sands is having a blast playing drums with the surfaris and actually gets both drumsticks at the end and takes ron wilson place.

  • I listened to this on headphones and its in fake stereo.

I don't think it's ever been remixed to stereo. I really like this version too.

  • Song was written by Chip Taylor who also wrote "Wild Thing" and "Angel of the Morning". He's actor Jon Voight's brother and the uncle of Angelina Jolie.

  • Really jon Voight's brother is Chip . i never heard that. where can i look that up. I know angel of the morning is originally sung by evie sands. i have the 45

  • Chip taylor produced some of the monkeys records .

  • had no idea one of my favourite ever female singers sang one of my favourite ever songs. double boss post.
