@gagsen97 No. You put all your liquids (in 3 oz or smaller containers) in ONE 1-quart sized ziploc bag. Only one bag per person. If it's not a liquid, cream, or gel, it does not need to be in a ziploc bag, and the amount is unlimited. These rules are for carry-on only, and don't apply to checked bags.

Ok, I plan on shopping in the aiports duty free shops to buy foundation. So (if I remember correctly), haven't they already checked my bags before I entered the shopping area? So does that mean I don't have to worry about putting the makep into ziplock bags?

@spritedrin Right, if it's after you go through security it doesn't matter. But it would need to be in your checked luggage or in a ziploc bag for your return flight.

What about checked luggage. The one that doesn;t go with you in the airplane (The big suitcase one) You can put any size of liquid or gel or face cream in there right? Because I want to put my face toner and face cleanser and face cream and stuff like that in my checked luggage? But would they allow me? And you know when they check it in the x rays, would we be able to see what they show in the bag trhough the x ray or would those peope that work there only be able to see it right?

It doesn't matter how many liquids you put in there right? I heard that you can only bring a certain amount of liquid that is 3oz or less, maybe I heard wrong o-o

@Lynx371 Yes, there is a limit. In your carry-on you must be able to fit all 3 oz liquid containers into one quart sized ziploc bag. No containers bigger than 3 oz, unless you put them in your checked luggage.

@boricubananena7 yes, but if you're traveling abroad you may not want to. The higher voltages can blow a flat iron out and you'd need to buy a new one.

@365Jazz The last time I flew was a year ago. I just put all my necessary liquids in there.

There is no need to remove your solid makeup, just your bag of liquids- including makeup, medications, and whatever else it contains.

@365Jazz If it's a spray or gel or whatever, yes. I just went out and bought a travel size solid so I wouldn't have to take up the room. you can find them at Target or Walmart for around $1.

I've got two questions!

1) The quart size bag, can it be ziploc bag? The one where you use your fingers and slide it across the top to zip it (not the kind of bag that you have in the video)?

2) If the original container is to big, and I transfer it to a smaller bottle, does the smaller bottle have to have the product's label on it?

@LOLx3niisaa Yes, it can be a ziploc bag. If you transfer things to smaller containers, you don't need to label it unless you want to for personal reference. The only exception is I think medicines need to be in original containers.

I recommend the sephora scented spray :) Its really cheap and it is only 10ml which can probaly last you for the whole trip. The size of the bottle is vey compact too! I love the scent musk almond! Anws, awesome vid!

Toothpaste is a liquid. All liquids must be a a container with 3oz or less and you must fit all of them into ONE 1 quart bag per passenger. I didn't stay in a hotel in France so I'm not sure how many hotels provide free soaps or shampoos. You can certainly buy them over there. Safety razors, including disposable razors are allowed.

Eyelash curlers aren't on the prohibited list for carry on items (aka- they're allowed) and I took mine on with no question. They're not sharp objects, so I don't see why they would be a problem for anyone. There are a few articles online dated 2007 that say you can now bring them on board, so maybe they weren't allowed at one time but they are now.

Yes, along with any other liquids that you are carrying on (shampoo, facial wash, foundation, etc.). If you're checking a bag and don't need any of these liquid items in your carry on, you can put an unlimited amount of liquid into your checked bag.

Yes, only liquids (and creams, gels, etc). Basically anything that could spill if not closed properly or that you have to squeeze out.

Yes, you have to check any liquid more than 3 oz with the exception of some medications and baby formula. The liquids in your checked luggage doesn't need to be in a bag. The 1qt bag rule only applies to carry ons and it's one per person.

The amount of powders or solids doesn't matter, take as much mineral stuff or eyeshadows as you want. All liquids, creams, gels, etc must be 3 oz or smaller and must all fit inside ONE one quart ziploc bag for your carryon. If you're checking your bag, it doesn't matter.
