  • Great job, Teslacult, keep going. You can try to add also some series AA rechargeables in paralell with the main battery and also to put more leds around the circuit, and in a certain cofiguration, should produce more light with still the charging mode. Great!

  • @MrFlathunter Yes, with the Tesla switch. I figured out that the Tesla switch was acting somewhat like a radio reciever drawing power into the circuit. I think the same thing is happening here.

  • Interesting, is the transformer a 1:1 ratio or is it step up or down or what? Thanks. Good video.

  • @mrBr00k5 Its a 110V to 12V stepdown transformer. The 12V side triggers the transistor and the 110V side charges the battery. Other transformers will work by adjusting the resistance on the transistor base.
