It's really really gross. I totally object to sitting on the toilet seat. Sometimes, though: you gotta do what you gotta do. And I don't have the muscle control to be hovering for five minutes.
actually there was a study and the toilet seat was way cleaner then most other things in the bathroom. touching the door handle on the way out is actually the most nast.

I don't do that either. I wash, then dry and use a paper towel to open the door
