  • perfect

  • Man that is fantastic... thanks for posting.

  • Great,

tonight I made this pattern on my KORG electribe EMX, it is not a TR808 but it sounds maybe as well!!

    I like it!!

coming weeks i try to make a small track based on this rithm.

    Best regards!!

  • love that beat nice work :)

  • I love your demos/lessons!

  • eccellente tutorial! La griglia finale inoltre è davvero un tocco di classe, perchè si puo usare per fare un altro pezzo prendendo spunto da questo saporito groove.

  • DRUM MACHINES

    HAVE SOUL

  • I'm the dude who asked about this on the HC forums. Just want to make sure this video gets a "Like" from me! :)

    Again, YOU ROCK!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!

  • Oh, how fun! This will make a nice little project to follow along with. Thank you so much! I've actually not ever seen what an 808 looks like, as ubiquitous as it is :)

  • now your cookin with some grease. thats hot

  • @dilliot2k thank you - Indeed, it's such a great tune, I've always loved it (and who could not like something as soulful as this?) From back in the days when people really knew how to perform and play. I read somewhere that this song was basically TR-808 and Jupiter-8 (and the guitar and voice, of course)

  • @SynthManiaDotCom no thank you for making videos like this, I may not have access to classic analog synths and drum maschines, but videos like this are the next best thing. do you ever plan to do videos on new analog stuff?

  • another excellent tutorial!

  • @888music thank you very much

  • Wow, this is some kind of a real difficult pattern... :O Thank you for showing it, I love the TR-808! :D

  • @1314matt The pattern is indeed a bit convoluted. Either the programmer knew exactly what he wanted to get... or just entered notes at random ;-)

  • thanks a lot for doing this nice vintage job.

I love this track and this 808 sound!!.

Suggest: maybe Phill Collins In the Air Tonight CR78?????????

  • @peter160266 Awesome idea!

  • @peter160266 Will do - I don't have a CR-78 at the moment but it's in the plans to get one soon, so I'll definitely remember to post it once I have it

  • @peter160266 Yeah this drum loop is sooo SICK!

  • Thanks for showing us this great piece of vintage gear in action. Brings good memories from back in the day.

  • @muzixco Aren't those old Rolands still great? It's remarkable that they have contributed to so much music history

  • Thanks for sho

  • @muzixco You're welcome for sho ;)

  • Ooooooooooh babyyyyy, I'm hot just like an oveeen!

  • @WootsonTV Hehehehee :) That was funny ;)

  • Awesome! You even did the drum grid!

Got to test it out on the OP-1 with the new drum machine and finger sequencer!

    Thanks!

  • @titansteam You're very welcome :) The OP-1 looks like such a cool product. Does it have an 808 kit and the ability to program 32 notes or chain two 16-note patterns?

  • @SynthManiaDotCom I mentioned it because I know you have one too ;)

In the latest update they added a finger sequencer (24*16steps max patterns) and a kind of analog drum machine that will perfectly fit for this :)
