It wasnt demons killing them... when the sniper died he tangled himself in the wire. the officer and psycho killed a few, then the kid thought the psycho was geting a barbed wire anenema, so he shot him but when he fell there was no barbed wire
the paralyzed guy got mercy killed while the medic and the preacher killed eachother.
they were hallucinating in my opinion and when the kid fell into the sinkhole he died and went to heaven. my idea though. not really sure. reminded me of jacobs ladder.

i agree. i saw the begining, it seemed realistic about ww1. until the ending. but its actually a good horror movie
