Holy crap!! Me and my parents used to drive to that gas station and grab some ice cream. That's so weird, I just moved from Grapeview, that gas station was pretty cool when it was still running, I miss it there :(
Yup. My grandparents lived in a house about a mile and a half down the road in the direction this guy was coming from in the video. It's the house just off the right had side with the small pond in the yard. Anyhow, I used to walk down to the store there and buy nickel candies back in the eighties. Good times.
Maybe closed because of all the customers they ran off. One day I stopped for gas here and when I went in to pay, The lady inside was talking to her daughter. I'd been standing there for quite some time. Then when I was about to ask if I could pay for my gas she glared at me and just growled "What do YOU want!" (like she knew me or something and I've never met this person)
So I got a little pissy with her and said "I'd like to pay for my gas if you don't mind!" Never been back since.

Anyone old enough to remember when this wasn't just a generic gas station but the "Grapeview Country Store" and Virgil (RIP) was the manager?
Those were the days....
