  • I think this song is about getting high, no?

  • Comment removed

  • Isn't that song in Kill Bill to ?

I've the feeling there's a fight with this song in it.

  • @IgnescentWar I think it was in sucker punch not kill bill.

  • Huh...Battlefield Vietnam theme. I'm okay with that.

  • @bridgeteseketiku I just got finished listening to the SP version. Be honest, you were paid to say that, weren't you? Because somebody would HAVE to pay me to say something like that. This version genuinely builds thicker and darker as it progresses, instilling the madness of drug use into your mind; the SP cover is just a cheap "new-age" remix with no umph that the sound directors decided would be an edgey addition to a mediocre sex-appeal action vid that also has no umph. Must have been paid.

  • @EmeraldLance Agree with this.

  • Yea i think i like suckerpunch version waaayyy better than this

  • @bridgeteseketiku never!!!! this is classic, this is epic, she is one of the best vocalist ever!

  • Reminds me of my first DXM trip, 450mg. It was nuts.

  • @MrRagnarxx Wait was this from cough syrup? If so what one?

  • Dark and heavy!

  • i like how the lyrics have feed your head 3X at the end when its only song twice

  • trippy tune ;-)

  • WE BUILT THIS CITY...

  • @Maliburl3 I was just a bout to say that. xD

  • did you know this song is the original song for the chillin scene in platoon.. but i dont know why eventually stone choose the smokey robinson's instead of this song

  • As Jerry Garcia said, "surrealistic as a pillow"!

  • feed your head

  • Love this song!!

  • @2:19 is when you throw the radio into the tub.

  • I'd love to take some shrooms to this, too bad it's so short.

  • This song makes me feel like I took pills too!

  • Wasn't this song in Sucker Punch..?

  • @Crowdog1234 Yessir. Done by Emily Browning, though.

  • @StolenSunsets Nope it was done by Emiliana Torrini :)

  • @Maliburl3 Oh. D: Oops.

  • sopranos, the game and platoon brought me here :P thumbs up if it was you too?

  • i drop acid to this song

  • Too short, but a good one.

  • grace was hott as hell back then

  • This song just shows how much drug use there was when Alice in Wonderland was written. XD

  • @chunkypuff91 Most probably. But compare the guy who wrote Alice in Wonderland with Edgar Allan Poe and tell me who was the most addicted to drugs(and alcohol). P.S. Poe was also an alcoholic, but he was also addicted to opium.

  • this songs fun to sing to yourself if your walking in some hot ass sun

  • One of the best female rock songs of the 60's. But it's just so damn short :( But to be honest, that's probably why it got good radio play when it was released. Not that I would know, I wasn't even alive back then. :(

  • This song and LSD Change all my life.

  • GS had some funny stories about her drinking days. Pulled over by the cops in her XKE and getting all drunk mouth on 'em. CongraTUlations on getting sober.

  • 2:15 *Drops tape recorder in bathtub

  • "Feed your head" doesn't necesarily need to mean with some form of drug or narcotic. There are other ways to feed your head. Although, everything in moderation including moderation. So, for myself more herb these days...

10 feet tall? This kind of height is all relative.

  • LSD-25 is the best drug.

  • 10 People didn't see a White Rabbit...

  • There's only two "Feed your head"'s

  • acid...it does weird things

  • Emiliana Torrini - White Rabbit who the fuck is emilina torrini? she should have her voice removed for singing a remake of this song no one and i mean no one can touch jefferson airplane on this song sickening anyone would try

  • @spockles The only thing sickening I see here is your narrow-minded attitude toward music; you're doing a disservice to music by trying to "protect" it from itself. Cover songs are great. The cover song itself might not be good (a lot of them are complete shit compared to the originals) but if it causes even one person to look up the original artist and widen their musical tastes, then it's a great cover song.

  • @grenadier33 i bet you would welcome a rap version of this song also why do artist have to steal stuff there not creative enough to write there own

  • @spockles I would welcome a rap version too, rap doesn't scare me any more than other form of music.I'm guessing by your attitude toward music displayed here so far, you don't consider it to be music. If Kanye West decided to do a cover of White Rabbit, it might sound like absolute shit but I can guarantee you some of his fans would search out the original and discover Jefferson Airplane for the first time. It has nothing to do with creativity, it's an homage to an artist who influenced them.

  • @grenadier33 I like old school hip hop because it sampled 70s Funk and I thought that was kind of interesting. You'd be listening to Public Enemy and you'd be hearing things lifted from Sly & The Family Stone songs or Funkadelic songs. But I think rap is AWFUL today.

  • @Saskatchewan00 Yeah... that's how I first started listening to Parliament/Funkadelic (and later on other 70s genres, which I had previously dismissed because I was a dumb kid). And yes, rap and hip hop have gone too far downhill, very few good artists now (check Blue Scholars if you liked Public Enemy).

I love it when I get replies here because I get to listen to White Rabbit over and over again whenever I reply. :)

  • 10 people tried a pill and it failed to make them 'larger' >.>

  • Comment removed

  • 'You' is your penis. Got it.

  • Sem dúvida, uma das melhores bandas de Rock de todos os tempos!

  • One pill makes 'you' larger. Get It?

  • Battlefield Vietnam FTW

  • So, let me get this straight. You want me to throw the tape recorder in the bathtub when White Rabbit peaks? Ok, close those peepers.

  • @bassman619 lmao love that movie

  • Grace was sooo pretty.

  • psychadellic music at its peak.

  • @wtf66611 bands like Kyuss, Dead Meadow, Colour Haze, Naam, The Sword, Gov't Mule and Sleep have both minor and major success off and on over the last 20 years. With the rise of independent labels and the internet, psychadellic bands are free to make whatever kinds of music they whant and reachout to huge audences of people without the negativety of scenes based on drug abuse, group approval and stereotypes holding them down. If anything psychadellia is stronger than ever.

  • GREAT INTRO!!!!!

  • feed your head

  • The viagra pill makes ME larger.

  • I read that Grace wrote the lyrics in under an hour.

  • this song is better than most songs because its linear. most other songs go in like 4 directions. sing normally. sing repeated verse. progress with different words that sound like the first verse. go back to the repeated verse. repeat. end. this song goes in one straight direction. and thats something most musicians need to learn if they want to be better songwriters. this song was written in underexposed format. USE IT!!! Peace...

  • Seriously, have none of you read Alice in Wonderland, the final lines are 'Keep your Head, Keep your Head'.

  • "i knew about this song before"... fucking hipsters

  • @intelsilver I'm a hipster, but i don't do that.

  • @intelsilver

It's funny, when you ask people what a hipster is to begin with, and everyone has a different answer....

  • I knew about this song before it was written

  • @Pandagasms

I'll have some of what he's having.

  • @Pandagasms

    That actually made me lol!

  • @Pandagasms Not at all. I just doubt you knew about a song before it even existed. How is this possible?

  • @ZombieHunter2619 :o I was mocking the hipsters

  • @Pandagasms fucking hipster

  • @Pandagasms Holy Fuck, you were part of Jefferson Airplane? Awesome.

  • @Pandagasms best comment EVER!! actually the best things is that everyone replies like "i don't believe you" lololololol

  • @badhorsiee I'm still baffled by some of the comments I get, it's clearly sarcasm, because obviously knowing about something before it exists is absurd and illogical.
