I'm not suprised that you find faces around Isolation. It IS the only Halo map thats supposedly a Flood research centre. So Flood specimens kept for study here. And the Flood do need to feed. So the scientists probably threw in a load of different animals to test if they had any sort of food preference. So the faces you see are probably animals that are probably not from Earth cause I'm pretty sure no one in their right mind would place a Flood research centre on Earth.

im about to share something i dont think anyone knows about, on this map, on the heatmaps on bungie.net, there are faces, everywhere. go to isolation, turn the intensity to 6, make sure its at 6, save the image to your desktop, this only really works on a mac because of the zoom feature on the keyboard, if you do a regular "blow up" of the image it will just look pixelated. but if you look closely you will begin to see faces EVERYWHERE, and they are alot more clear than this,they are actualfaces
