  • nice! it's cool to get the feeling of seeing into the window of a creative process. 4 a newbie on the instrument, this and Hungover Funk had me going back and forth listening for how certain ideas came about. thanks again for posting.

  • Art is two way road! We should let the people decide the validity of a work. Of course the artist has a say, but it's almost rendered insignificant due to subjective interpretation. What we need to be grateful for, is the concept of the artist onto itself and just providing us with the mere opportunity to engage in aesthetics and art so we can develop subjective takes on things.

With that - I like it! I try and take in as much as I can in the production of art, so I like the background too!

  • Thanks so much! That's my backyard - it makes me long for summer again. I checked out your last response post about subjectivity and semantics in language. Some well nuanced arguments/explanations you make. You have a gift for language.

You mentioned that you feel science cannot be considered completely objective (I think that's what I heard). Would you agree that good science makes every attempt to be objective, but is still subject to human interpretation?

  • I appreciate that! I see the ability to communicate and just language as gifts in themselves. Society at large just doesn't see it like that, but oh well.

Yes! That's truth! However, the scientific community (including political ones or any community for that matter)still maintains it results to be 'unbiased.' That's absurd to me, especially when we take a cursory glance at history and see how science has been used. The problem is 'utility' (in Mills terms) and how science is used.
