@BaiWinning i heard the original radio announcement of jim ladd. most radio stations to this day record EVERY HOUR THEY BROADCAST FOR ARCHIVAL AS WELL AS PROTECTION. in any case, it was tom's idea to set the timing up where jim (in the original film) turns up the music, but in this part, that's when they cut in jim ladd's announcement of morrison's death. i really thought ( as well as the audience in the theatre that night) that was so damn creepy! great work here!!!!!!!!!

But I understood why he removed himself from the US and moved to Paris, because I did the same thing that very same year.  Good footage of historical events influencing our generation.

Apparently Pamela told him it was cocaine because he loved the stuff, but she was a heroin addict, and Jim hated heroin. I guess his body must've went into shock because he never used heroin and his body wasn't used to it. Therefore he went into cardiac arrest. That's the popular theory and who knows it may be true.

jonny depp is an amazing actor, poet, AND narrator(Gonzo, the Kerouac tribute album) not only does he own the movie script to "on the road" but he has been in some of the best movies of all time movies such as dead man and fear and loathing ECT. jim morrison is dead and thats the way it is he never was god nor did he want to worshiped in this fashion im glad they took that silly statue down that was a disgrace to jim morrison he didn't deserve that as his final resting place...
