I had the extreme pleasure to meet Clay Walker in a casino in Las Vegas, I must say he is the nicest guy on this planet. He was fun, handsome and a real sweet Texas guy. It's always like a dream when you get the opportunity to meet a country artist that you admire and they turn out to be truely down to earth and real. Clay Walker has the greatest voice and many great hits.
God this is when there was actual honky tonks where the musicians got their start. Guys like Chris LeDoux and Lane Frost were the center of the rodeo world. Texas was the Heartland and you weren't a country music band without a steel guitar and a fiddle!
92% of all teens have turned to Hip Hop and Pop. If u r part of the 8% that still listen to real music, copy and paste this to another 3 music videos.
I wish they would stop trying to expand the fan base with these "new artists" there is a reason country music had the most loyal fan base of all the genres. that crap they call "country" now is more like pop/rap with a guitar in the background (if that). 90's country was the golden age. I hope it revives.
One of the best artists Ive ever had the pleasure to accompany:) God Bless ya Clay!! :) God made us outta Clay and to Clay we will return some day:))) Love ya C-Dub hehe !! *giggles
Ever hear of Tammy Wynette George Jones, Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, Charlie Pride, George Strait, Jerry Lee Lewis, Hank, Reba, Johnny Cash, Loretta Lynn, Donna Fargo, Ronnie Milsap, Kris Kristofferson, Willie...? There was Country before the '90s. And how!
@Pumarisi124 when you say Hank. which one? lol no im kidding, both Sr. and Jr. were before the 90's. also Alabama was mainly 80's werent they? and The Highwaymen if you remember them. Patsy Cline, Conway Twitty, John Denver, Glen Campbell.
clay walker is my favorite singer ever and he inspired me to try singing so when my mom met him at a kmart since he couldnt give her an autograph for me he gave her a 12 pack of sprite zero that he had just bought. it was awesome i was happy and sad at the same time cuz i couldnt meet him myself. that was when he was doing his treatment for MS
@jordan19862000 So many memories are stirred up by this song...oh man, a good job, a great marriage, life was really good but by the late 90's the words to this song described me to a t. Still have an awesome husband but lost the job, disabled, nervous breakdown...life has not been easy since then. Thanks for an awesome song Clay!! Loved what you did on tonight's episode of "Coming Home"!!!!!
no doubt Alabama is the greatest country band but clay walker is not far from there

This is the first song I ever fell in love with when I was just a young'n.
I must have been about 3-4 when I first heard it.
I'm not into country music anymore, though.

This was the end of some real good country. The 21s century killed it.
