The only this trick can be performed is by having all the cards in order from the start. If you look at where he fans the cards out at the beginning, you'll see the 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 of spades. When you see him 'shuffling' the cards, its merely false cuts. It is virtually impossible to perform this trick when the cards are in a random order.

my uncle Chris does the stories better he knows all of them and when he wants us to shuffle the cards he gives one of us the cards and we shuffle them WE shuffle them not him so thats even more impresive and he doesn;t even look at the cards he looks staight at us.Now try that and see if you can do it!

It's a great trick, but I think you could've done better by making your own story and by being yourself. And I guess being yourself is the hardest part for most people, because it's a rehearsed story, but if you can do that, people won't have that akward feeling of something being forced. Your technique is very good though, couldn't have done it any better, keep up the good work!

I disagree with the comments about James Galea doing this trick better. Perhaps Galea's presentation is better, but this guy's skills with the cards is far superior. The false cuts that Galea uses are so easy and elementary compared to some of the one's this guy uses. Just watch the his video and compare.

the false rifle shuffle is called the zarrow shuffle. You can find lots of different dvd's on which it is explained. I find it very useful.
