@TheSonOfDumb Well thats debateable, seeing how not all deamons are equal and not all chaos space marines are equal, but yes, in terms of raw strength, greater deamons will always be stronger than chaos space marines, but on the other hand, if 10 of the 20 legions never turned to chaos, chaos would not really be able to challange the Imperium, so the chaos space marines do play a major role in chaos's forces.

@TheJarric The Grey knights were created (i think) during the golden age with the crusades. And they were a secret and off the records so to speak. The deathwatch were formed (I think again) after the Horus Heresy on discovering the tyranids. I'm probabaly half wrong :)

@TheJarric There were 20 legions total. Legions II and XI were removed from the Imperium history. They may have been found and a tragedy befell them as the story "The Lightning Tower" implies they were spoken about posthumously.

@drewvolker The Death Guard were named after Mortarion was given command of the Dusk Raiders. The Grey Knights, chapter 666, are a different breed and not of the original 20, created after the beginning of the Horus Heresy.

Chaos Space Marines are the primary foe of the Space Marines and are the toughest regular soldier they have since Daemons don't just waltz around the galaxy.

For the past few months, I have done some small readings about the history and information of the Space Marines. It's so amazing of how the authors have made so much in-depth history and information about them. There are even over a dozen novels based upon the Horus Heresy. The history about the Marines are almost as complex as real history. Just how did the developers make SO MANY books and stuff about the Space Marines? Was if made from a small group of authors that took decades to create?
