I saw Jonsi perform this live on tour. Let me say that it is the most cathartic moment of my lifetime. It's the closest I've ever come to a religious experience. I felt something leave my body. Jonsi owns a little piece of everyone at that show.

I've just got back from Latitude Festival, where Jonsi played a magnificent set on the final night. Although he wasn't the closing act, I felt that watching any of the following bands would be disrespectful to the beauty, artistry and scale of this man's music.

An extended version of this track was his closing song, and the sound it created was so glorious it took the arena and everyone it it to a truly wonderful place.
