  • And how many died building the pyramids than bright spark. Health and safety doesn't cripple industry people like you and workplace accidents cripple industry.

Good to see you have come up with a real sensible argument against Health and Safety, a loads of expletives and insults. I just hope you live long enough to realise what a prick you sound like.

  • diyfixit is a good name for this crowd, have you ever heard of the health and safety at work act. Working on a roof five meters above ground level without a scaffold is a very dangerous thing let alone be attemping to guide in steels,no hard hats or saftey boots or guide line attached to the steel. Who is the banksman here, the one on the left is scratching his balls at one minute, then his arse next, then chooses to direct the crane driver as well as the man with the cap on. John Wayne & Co.??

  • @williamf4401 oi mug, this is prob how they did it 1000's of years ago when they built the pyramids,,,, leave off with your fucking stupid health and saftey bollocks ...its crippling the industry! your not up there are you? you mug! so shut the fuck up you prick!

  • We did the same thing and the crane driver was from India called Sindrom. When we wanted it lowered we were shouting "down sindrom!" Nice job though and gezzy84, you'll pay for all the heavy lifting in years to come, not good.

  • not once in ten years of doing loft conversions have we ever had a crane to put an RSJ in to one of our lofts ! no wonder my back is fucked! and they are still heavy when they have been spliced!
