This song uses the same chords as Harmony Korine from his Insurgentes record...there is a riff in Pain that also appears on Porcupine Tree´s Shesmovedon...he seems to hold a connection with all of his projects. I don´t know if he does it consciously but the songs are lyrically related to some degree, it´s cool to think about it that way.

The only reason it reminds you of Radiohead is because of what you hear at 2:21 to 2:27 and then again at 3:44 to 3:49. Steve switches from an overdriven guitar sound to a chorus effect but as I have noted its use is minimal.
