this phone is shit. ive had it for around 2 years now and i no longer keep my contacts it. it is EXTREMELY slow and most of the time the buttons do not respond. audio is not in sync in some videos. the only good thing i can say about this phone is the camera but even that is fucked up. the slightest movement can really screw up a photo.

This phone is terrible seriously I have it and it freaks out after about 6 months then screws up your contacts and after that just generally screws up. Please don't just take it from me because my friend got the same phone and it did the same and he has had ot less tome than me

Dear Mr.Taurusxaries i had the same problem of 6500s-1 remove the battery cover on the right hand side of the camera lens there is a small gold coloured contact with a small flat screwdriver carefully bend the contact up and your problem is solved.

its good at first yeah but then like a year later, it starts getting fucked up (plz excuse my language). you can't access the memory card unless you put an elastic band (or hair band) around it.

If you take the phone back to the shop where you bought it from and explain about the MicroSD problem they should fix it for free as it is a design fault.

I My dad just gave me this phone and the number pad buttons are all scratched up because of the slider and the back cover doesn't fit properly. This means that often the phone can't tell that the micro SD card is inserted, which is very annoying. I do however love the look and feel (especially the weight) of the phone. A definate upgrade, even if a little worn out, from my old nokia 6280. I love these slider phones :)

i have this, pity im on a contract and can't get rid of it. It doesnt even turn on any more, and every single time I take it to the Nokia repair centre they give it back to me, but after about three months, it stops working again. This handset is actually registered as faulty, there are so many petitions asking to get them recalled. Don't buy it, nearly all of them stop working.

i think the 6500 slide is better because:

its nokia, a long lasting phone

it supports up to 4gb of memory card (very good ram) while the LG supports 2gb

and---

i think the lg has one camera while the 6500 has 2

6500c is thiner and smaller ,but also has smaller display . 6500s has bigger display but it's bigger. 6500c have 1gb internal memory,no memory card support , 6500s supports memory card. =) so depends what you like.

haunter600 - if you have usb cable then connect phone to the computer with it and wait while comp initializes it and then in my comp you'll have a picture of an external divice. and that is your memory card.
