Thank you all for the sweet comments. My son Caleb is 8 now. Wish I have the time to do a video for each lapbook that my boys do. It's a very nice keepsake for years to come. Do you provide .pdf 's of this lapbook? My son is a Thomas kid too and I would love for him to use one to learn more of what he's talking about when he rattles off sayings and words.

My kids and I make a lapbook every week, but I've never seen a little book like the one holding your vocabulary cards. Is it something you purchased or folded? Great idea, to have your child show off his lapbook instead of you doing the demonsstration! It helps people understand how lapbooking can reinforce concepts for kids.

this was so cute! First, your little boy is adorable! Second, thank you for posting this. I am a new homeschooler (with 4 kids under age 7) and had not heard of "lapbooks" before. Even with watching videos on how to make the covers, I hadn't seen one all put together until now. THANK YOU! this has been VERY helpful!
