i've been in 2REP 4cie 1989/1994, and yes i cleaned a lot at the begining, but i learned a lot and trained a lot as well. if you are in the kitchen ...you don't train a lot of course. at my time we didn't have sofisticated equipment but we were well trained. i don't believe that many armys have that kind of hard training but there are good troops all over the worl. someone that is a good soldier in the 2REP will a good soldier in other special force as well. people are the same.
The USA marines , or SaS British special corpse beat these dudes by miles, both in technology and in military techniques . French legion is just a place where mercenaries go, they get basic FITNESS training and that's it. @kirundo1 my opion on the draft is that it is shit. the draftees did nothing "that humans can be proud of" because they didnt even want to b their, but we still glorify them because even if they did or didnt succeed, they were still in the military, forced or no they still gave up parts of their lives to protect our country, and even if u were drafted that still more than deserving of praise, now i'm not sure so CORRECT ME IF I'M WORNG i dont think that the U.S. military drafts anymore
