OSHA, MMS, Coast Guard, Energy and Natural Resources, Environment and Public Works.Dept of Interior, and then add the states regulatory agencies on top of those. Believe me I've worked for enough of them to know that a business can't burp without "permission." Regulators know how to say "NO" but solve problems.. ha. Not their job.

BP knew the well would be risky, theres internal emails to prove this but they decided to go ahead anyway and ignore the risk. BP is to blame for the mess and nobody else.

If boycot hurts BP franchisees, guess what? They can switch to another supplier, just as people can switch to another gas station.
