Nice flying man. The Pro2 out of the box is the best performing version of the CP series of micro's. The controls are a bit soft in stock form but that's just me. I've flown all the CP's down from the original Blade CP which came with flat bottom blades and a 9 volt NiCad battery through the CP+, PRO, and now the Pro2 which is a major improvement over the others. However this is not a good trainer heli unless you have the time, cash, and patents or a simulator. Take care all, lata.
Do u like this radio? I need a better one for my MCX and MSR. I was thinking about the Spektrum DX6I but this is quite a bit cheaper. Does it have all the options the spektrum has? Does it have memory for more then 1 model?
SnwBrd, In this vid, I was using the stock radio...just to get a baseline. I soon after changed to a DX6i, and it's a major improvment! You will enjoy the flexibility of the DX6i, and have room for your current models, and a whole lot more! Highly recommended! Good luck with the helis!
hey good flying i have one myself...for some reason all of a sudden it doesnt lift into the air anymore i have no idea why and it makes a funny noise...everything is good shape the servos work correctly..would u happen to know anything??
hoffbran, Thanks for the kind words.....sorry your CPP2 is having problems... If it is not lifting off, and has strange noises, it would make me believe that maybe you have an issue with the motor itself, or possibly the speed control as well. It's hard to diagnose these things over the web....how many flights are on that motor, would you estimate? They are brushed motors, so they are prone to wearing out brushes and commutators fairly quickly. New motors are not expensive.... Glenn
If you have no heli experience at all, I would suggest a coaxial like the 300, or better yet, a CX2. This will help you with the basics of heli control, and most importanly, orientation, which is the building block for all later flying. If you must jump right to a single rotor heli like the CPP2, you should also invest in a simulator, and put aside lots of cash for parts, and alot of patience!! Single rotor, collective pitch helis have a steep learning curve!! Hope this helps!
jake, No, the CPP2 does not come with training gear, but Eflite makes a perfect fitting set, I think they are about $10....well worth the price in saved parts if you are a newbie!! I speak from experience! Have fun if you get one! Glenn
Lifts?? YOU have working lifts??I hav worked without lifts for the last 10 yrs and my bones feel it,getting up and down,up reaching,up lifting whileon your back gets to you after a while, you lucky guy.
Jeff, you need one of these!! So cool! I can't wait get it setup on the DX6i, like you said, and really get it fine tuned, although I must say, Eflite did a very nice job with this heli! I really can't wait to fly it outside!! Glenn
Jeebus ! I can't believe I'am gonna say this, but I think I want one ! For such a quick set-up and still using the stock TX I'am very impressed... Now just think it will do when ya bind it to your DX6i and fine tune it ! I'am equally impressed on getting to see your work area...Lol... Looking forward to seeing any future videos when you get the chance......
very smooth flying
