Linux on PS3 Slim Part 1

Cant run linux with ps3 slim.....You can run it with ps3 fat ...linux or ubuntu.....You cant run it on ps3 slim...because it doesnt have other os.....on ps3 fat....i ran linux on ps3 fat.....i got google crome and other things...but before u run linux on ps3 fat BACK UP ALL ....Games...movies...on a USB stick...so it wont get lost

Thank you soo much, I bought a PS3 slim 2 years ago and threw it back in the box after I found out that I can't load another OS onto it. Got it black friday and I figured why buy a blu ray player (because they all cost at least 200 for a decent 1) and to build a computer to play Blu-Ray would cost 300 anyways so why not go for the Black Friday deal where I get a Blu-Ray, 2 games, don't have to assemble a PC, and it boots really quickly so I can use it as an entertainment center for my main TV.
