Several African-American who tested with 23andMe got their DNA tested by several other sources, and recieved different and more accurate results. For example one man's African ancestry jumped from 60% to 80%, another went from 70% to ~90%, and another man went from 61% to 82%. And in regard to Kenyans and Ethiopians, the recent Tishkoff study, the biggest genetic study on Africans, the African ancestry of both groups was 95-100%. 23andMe is a good company, more African samples are needed though.
Interesting! He is 51% white, 39% black, and 10% Asian (Native Americans are considered Asian according to 23andMe).
