I have the same problem. It is very slow, but playable. How do I fix it. P.S. I borroved samurai warriors 2 dvd from my friend. I play it on medium settings. Sometimes on low settings, but still slow. My Pc specs are:

256MB RAM

nvidia geforce 5200 fx (128MB) 32bit (colour)

processor Intel Celeron 2.66GHz (I had pentium 4 2.66GHz)

I have more then the minimum system requirements. CAN SOMEBODY HELP ME PLZ???!

If you have problems with performance try these:

Windowed mode instead of full screen (thats the most important)

quality custom, and all options to low except shaders which should be to high. i had these kind of problems you describe with warriors orochi so in SW2 i just tuned it like that and never encountered any problem. though i run it on characters: many personally cause i like the extra difficulty :)

Funny how Warriors Orochi for the PC plays faster then Samurai Warriors 2 seeing as Samurai Warriors 2 came out first in the console. My guess is they add a lot of lens flare effect in there and re did the graphics big time.
