We did a protest on October 21, 2009 in Saskatoon. We did not attempt to attack the police. We did ask them to arrest Bush, and offered them free DVDs, they didnt take them, but we did not try to force our opinions on them. Don't take it out on the police, you depend on them to protect you when you need it.

I agree with where you are coming from. But its not a simple black & white issue of "Oh, he's a cop, so its okay to take our frustrations out on him because he represents the government". He probably wishes he wasn't there protecting that dickhead - but that isn't the point. He is there to make sure that property, stores, and businesses aren't damaged and that people aren't injured. He doesn't have anything to do with Bush's policies, he's just there trying to ensure the public peace.

The cop CHOSE to be a cop and take whatever orders he received. The mob has a right to take it out on him, he CHOSE to be an instrument of a government they don't like.
