Great Tune! This guy was a Real to Reel RECORDING artist!....Kinda Zappa-ish on the vocal approach, I like it. Les Paul's God-son. I'm sure Les was always willing to give him advise and technique on multi-track recording. Steve's recordings some of those rare 3-D like soundscapers with dimesion in the recorded sound.

Just yesterday, I found out upload max. times have been extended from 10(:58/9)mins to 15mins(+58/9secs like before I guess?) on ordinary accounts, since Sept or before. Hurrah!
Being 24secs 2 long it would need a tiny speed increase, th@ would do it ;-j
p.p.s. as for the YT Partner account idea, I had a look @ th@. Lots and lots of t & c. I would imagine any copyright infringement on a YTP account would be even less tolerated than on an ordinary account? ;-j
That's good news :) I've just got one strike on my uploads (guess who - yes EMI!) They just put an advert on the video, which is crazy coz actually it only had like 500 views :(
@ogrebattle22763 Yeah, but that's true of almost every SMB album, isn't it? The fact that Brave New World and Italian X-Rays aren't as popular as Book of Dreams continues to grate on my nerves.
@steveasat2 What? I'm not going to sit here & pretend that every Steve Miller album is underated... especially those 2 albums... I don't get how you are saying that those two albums surprisingly aren't as popular as Book Of Dreams... I really don't understand that at all... but hey if you like those albums then good for you...
@ogrebattle22763 Those two albums stand out to me for two reasons: a.) there's not a song on either that I'm even tempted to skip past, and b.) they were both ridiculously hard for me to acquire on CD until Amazon came along. But I visited many a record store that had the complete Eagles back catalog and only SMB Greatest Hits. Maybe that's over now. I hope so.

Love Steve Miller Band. This is my background music when I go strutting down the walk, wearing polyester bellbottoms and a butterfly collar. I miss albums that seemed to be one giant free-for-all jam session. I have a collection of albums where the shortest cut is still over 14 minutes. Thanks for the share and for the "trip" down memory lane.
@ELGROOVER funny - one of those anne nightingale plays was the only time I'd ever heard this track ... prior to coming looking for it here! I had always remembered how much i liked it tho . LOVE the guitar at 1:41 (last note of phrase...note bend into repeat-echo...actually i think had it was one of a few influences which got me into echoey hings , but i'd forgotten about it ! ) Great post groover ! Just what i want in a side 2 ;) tyvm

I always liked this song even though it was long! This was a very underrated album in my opinion... it never got the recognition it should have!
