canada for life :D and i always have trouble with my tank temrature because of the cold weather right now my rooms in the basement so its very hard to keep it warm i have 2 lights and a pad

yeah it helps to have a room you can easily heat with a spaceheater

I just cool the room slightly and let the weather do the rest. Also I reduce the day lengths on the lights and heatpads to mimic the natural Sun times.

The tanks are 4 foot by 2 foot by 16 inches high

smaller males seem to get the job done better. A large or overweight male can often be to lazy to breed.
